Kimberly A. Strickland, ARNP
Kim joined our staff early in 2003.
Kim was born and reared in Scranton, Pennsylvania near the Pocono Mountains. She attended Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1983. Kim then worked as charge nurse in medical/surgery, pediatrics and emergency room at Scranton State General Hospital.

She developed extensive skills for an extended period with Upjohn/Columbia/Olsten Home Health Care, serving as clinical supervisor with specialty care in pediatrics, orthopaedic rehab, cardiac rehab, wound care, and diabetic care and instruction.
In 1998, Kim assumed staff and charge nurse positions at Bayfront Medical Centerís mother/baby unit and the level II neonatal intensive care unit. She served as Clinical Nurse Specialist for Women and Childrenís Services. Kim is also an adjunct faculty member for St. Petersburg College.

She received her Masters of Science in the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida and precepted through our office for her pediatric rotation. We were very excited that she chose to join our staff and many of you will see Kim as she attends to your new little ones at Bayfront Medical Centerís Nursery.

Kim is married to her husband Joe, a podiatrist in the area, and has two children, Sarah and Joe.
