Dr Karges launched All Star Pediatrics in 2003 after purchasing the 30-year established medical practice started by Dr Boyd Mullholand.  Dr. Karges arrived with high recommendations and with strong credentials, a wealth of knowledge and experience, with admirable character, personality and integrity. Steve is married to his lovely wife Ivey and they have four wonderful children Tyler, Elli, Spencer & Phoebe.

Steve is a Florida native who grew up in Daytona Beach. He entered the University of Florida in Gainesville, graduating with high honors and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiological Sciences. He continued at the University of Florida and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the College of Medicine.

He completed his Pediatric Residency program at the University of South Florida in 2002, and was requested to remain and serve as the Chief Resident in Pediatrics. During his training years, he was active in research programs and contributed valuable experience in multiple volunteer activities.
He joined Dr Mullholand's practice in 2003 and assumed his ownership role after Dr Mullholand's retirement in 2005.
He is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He has remained current with Advanced Life Support qualification. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Association and currently serves on the Credentialing Committee of Citrus Healthcare.
